My father in law – does anyone remember him?

My father in law was a Scientific Instrument Maker and classroom Assistant at Marlborough College and was called up to serve at Worth Matravers …

He went in 1943, moved to Malvern and my Mother in law  didn’t see him again until after the war. In fact she thought he was having an affair because he would not say a word about what he was doing or where he was staying.

He never spoke of it after he was home again, and it wasn’t until he had died did we realise what an important job he did.
